Read guide →A fixed projector screen becomes part of the room. Project the intended image on the bare wall first, verify lens-to-screen distance, check the eye line from the main seats and make sure speakers, trim and furniture clear the outer frame.
Directional ALR material adds one more requirement: orientation. The screen surface has to face the projector and room light in the way the manufacturer intends. Physical alignment and lens shift should do as much of the geometry work as possible before digital keystone correction is used.
